Working Group Chair
Dr. Brandon Henry is a physician-scientist and clinical trialist with expertise in cell and gene therapy (CGT), RNA therapy, immunotherapy, companion diagnostics, biomarkers, clinical trial design, and evidence-based medicine (EBM). He has over 12 years of translational and clinical research experience encompassing both academia and industry.
Dr. Henry has published more than 450 articles in peer-reviewed journals, delivered dozens of presentations and lectures around the world, and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. He is an active member of steering committees for international scientific organizations, including the External Affairs Working Group of the International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine.
Dr. Henry serves on the editorial board of several journals including Clinical Chemistry & Laboratory Medicine, Journal of Laboratory and Precision Medicine, and Journal of Clinical Medicine. During the pandemic, he served as the Chairman of International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine Working Group on SARS-CoV-2 Variants.
Dr. Henry is passionate about revolutionizing patient care through medicine rooted in evidence. Dr. Henry has a special interest in biomarker enrichment and biomarker-based safety and efficacy endpoints in clinical trials.
